1951 GMC "sCool Bus", direct from Sweet Rides High School! Discover
the vibrant charm of this 1951 GMC School Bus, painstakingly
reworked and featuring a striking School Bus yellow that captures
the essence of its vintage I.S.D. roots. This unique vehicle is not
just a nostalgic nod to the past but a powerful machine under the
hood. It boasts a robust 454 CID GM crate engine, Edelbrock intake,
Quadrajet carb and a set of Sanderson cast iron headers, all paired
with a smooth 700R4 automatic transmission with a shift kit & trans
cooler, promising both reliability and a truly unique driving
experience. The entire suspension was donated from a 1986 GMC
Dually Camper Special, with a 3" drop, newer BelTech spindles,
wheel bearings, seals, lines, brake calipers & the addition of the
Detroit-Eaton 3" drop leaf springs and rear sway bar with an EZ
Stop electronic E-brake, giving you some extra piece of mind while
out on your cruises! Step inside to find an inviting yellow & white
interior that complements the exterior magnificently, creating a
cohesive and eye-catching look. The bus is equipped with a range of
modern conveniences that enhance comfort and functionality. Enjoy
the cool comfort provided by the dual air conditioning systems with
heat, ensuring a pleasant journey no matter the weather. The modern
gray leather interior is complete with a driver's seat that is not
only power but also swivels, 4 additional leather low-back captains
chairs & the 2 rear split bench seats that fold up to stow and a
removable table for extra cargo space when not in use. The cabin
also features an AM/FM/BT/CD player, allowing you to enjoy any of
your favorite tunes as you drive. All the tinted glass and
weatherstripping has been replaced, Classic gauges were added, 3M
insulation was installed, all the exterior lenses were replaced &
all of the brightwork was rechromed, leaving really nothing needed
but a fresh tank of fuel in the 42 gallon stainless fuel tank. This
bus is way too fun!. The vehicle's classic appeal is accentuated by
stock powder coated GM 16" front wheels & 17" Dodge rears with with
chrome trim & Cooper radial tires all the way around that not only
add to its aesthetic charm but also ensure a smooth ride. Safety
and convenience are at the forefront with Hydro-Boost power brakes,
power seat, power steering, and a power drivers window, making
every drive effortless and secure. The inclusion of seatbelts
further ensures safety for all passengers. Driving this 1951 GMC
