For Sale: 1968 Chevrolet C10 in VINTON, Virginia

Vehicle Description

I have a 1968 c-10 fleetside shortbed custom for sale. I did a thorough restoration on this truck about 3 years ago. Cab and bed were off and frame painted.  Started build at frame shop. All good. Found better than what I had bed,  but a 67. No side reflector lights, so I eliminated them on the fenders. Bed got all new braces, wood, stainless steel strips, tailgate.  All original steel. All the usual repairs on the sheet metal- floor repair, door bottoms, rockers, kick panels. I included pics of build to mainly show the lack of excessive body work. My blocking may not be perfect but it sure turns heads every time it's out and about. Paint is average and honestly why this is priced in the low 20's and not low 30's. Average meaning a few scratches but nothing major. No rust anywhere,  always garage kept. If your looking for perfect paint this isn't for you. Just being honest. If you're looking for a very very nice dependable truck that's not going to nickel and dime you to death, and look good, this is for you. During rebuilding the truck got everything it needed. Listing a few new parts (now 3 yrs. Old)  All new glass except rear windshield, which was in good shape. Wing windows. Led front and rear parking/ brake lights. All new front end including 4 inch. Dropped spindles with disc brakes added. Bushings, tie rod ends, ball joints. Rear got new 5 lug axles, brakes,  Craeger 15" wheels, tires. New cold case radiator. 7 blade clutch fan.  I reset odometer at rebuild to have accurate miles on newly rebuilt 350 c.i. engine. Now approx. 11000. Engine got new hei distributor, a little chrome, alternator, water pump, edlebrock carb. New chrome brake power booster.  Power steering came stock.  Stock 350 runs very good. New body trim where needed. New bumpers front and rear. Cab bushings. Door/window handles inside and out. Mirrors. Window/door seals. You get the idea. If it needed it, it got it and it needed just about everything. Interior got heat/sound pad, carpet, seat foam and houndstooth seat cover. Dash pad and gauge cover. New sun visors and brackets., glovebox. Heater has new on/off switch, resistor and blower motor. Truck has original 3 speed manual on the column.  Stock rear. U-joints replaced. The list of new parts goes on and on to help  make this a dependable truck ready to give many more years of service. I have all receipts.
