For sale is a 1946 Chevy 2-door Fleetmaster, the first year of auto production after the end of WWII. The car has been in our family since the 1960's and has been kept in a shed, barn or shop since 1973. When the original 216 engine blew, we installed a rebuilt 235 which was done by a friend who drag raced stove bolt era chevys, so it's quality work. It has a new wiring harness (see photos) and still runs on the 6v system. The original factory color was maroon, but was painted black in the mid-1960's. There is some old body repair work showing, some scratches and dents, but fairly solid,,,it shows it character. The good side is that it's mostly all stock and the interior is original with age related wear. Starts, runs and drives well. This car is a great, clean start for a restoration or "as is" driver.
