This 1966 Plymouth Belvedere II coupe is an extremely unique and special machine to say the least. It was purchased brand new by its current owner at Melrose Motors in Oakland California in 1965 and has been loved and driven regularly since. The car has all of its original and lifelong documentation and still retains it's black and yellow California plates. Also included is the original pink slip dated 12/29/65 as well as the car’s production broadcast sheet and original Chrysler Certicard still inserted into its original card holder within the engine compartment.
The car has lived a happy life entirely in Northern California and brought all three of the family's children home from the hospital. Though the car was mostly used for family transportation and weekend outings over the years, the dream was always to someday modify/modernize the car into something blisteringly fast with superb handling.
In 2013 the owner decided that it was now or never to see this dream realized... The zero accident 88,000 original mile car was completely stripped down, then media blasted to metal and primed. Any minor dings were repaired along with ONE small rust hole in the driver's rear quarter panel just behind the rear tire. It was then re-painted in its original paint code GG1 "Dark Green Metallic." Once the freshly repainted shell was complete, the car was reassembled with all of its original moldings plus the following new components installed...

Factory lead seems at the rear door rocker and beneath the rear windshield have been welded/hidden for aesthetic value as well as added strength.
Front and rear bumpers were also re-chromed.
Only 2,697 miles have been put on this beautiful build since it's extensive $134,000 resto-modification in 2013-2014. It would be safe to say that there is not a more pristine or tastefully modded Belvedere II on the planet. The owner is conservatively asking $89,000 for the car.
