Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1992 Porsche 928 GTS
5-speed manual. This is an Italian-market car we recently imported
via Belgium with our European partner Passion For Classics.
Finished in the stunning shade of Midnight Blue Metallic over black
leather interior, this example presents beautifully inside and out
and is showing only 61,120 kilometers (which translates to 37,978
miles). Factory 17-inch alloy wheels are wearing Bridgestone
Potenza tires.
Interior remains in excellent original condition with soft and
supple leather seating surfaces showing virtually no wear.
Excellent door panels, headliner, carpets, steering wheel and dash
(with no cracks, shrinkage or warping). Original Blaupunkt
Heidelberg RCM 40 cassette stereo is working; all gauges, lights
and indicators are working and there are no dead pixels in the
instrument cluster.
Under the hood is a potent four-cam 5.4 liter V8 which makes 345
horsepower. It's mated to a five-speed manual transaxle with a
dogleg shift pattern. A recent major service just prior to import
included a new timing belt, water pump, tune up and all fluids.
While we've always been fond of the 928's styling, the early US
cars (most of which were ordered with a non-overdrive automatic)
were pretty uninspiring to drive. Porsche kept improving the
drivetrain throughout the run, which culminated with the 928 GTS
offered from 1992 to 1995 - finally a 928 that offered blistering
performance to match its good looks. One of the fastest production
cars of its day, it still feels quick even by modern standards.
Spare, jack, owner's manual, stamped service book, some service
records and all import documentation are included. Sold on a clean
and clear Georgia title in our dealership's name. For more
information about this 1992 Porsche 928 GTS for sale at Motorcar
