This 1985 Ford F250 Supercab XLT Lariat is a really cool Bullnose
that spent its life in the State of Washington. The backstory is
that this truck was owned by a Ford mechanic for nearly 30 years
and it has been well cared for and maintained. This is a clean
truck! The body is clean and straight on this truck. It was
repainted at some point because of clear coat issues in its
original colors of Silver Metallic and Midnight Blue Metallic. It
is an awesome paint scheme and they added nice pinstriping to it as
well. All of the trim and moldings are original and in great
condition. The bed of the truck was professionally bedlined and
looks great too. The underside of this F250 is very clean and we
found no rust issues with this truck.
The interior is really nice and mostly all original. It has the
Deluxe XLT interior so it has the nicer seat, door panels, and
woodgrain dash bezel. The headlights, taillights, brake lights, and
turn signals are all working. The gauges all work. Both gas tanks
are working. The windshield wipers, horn, and heat work. This was
an AC truck from the factory and the AC is complete but it is not
blowing cold. The compressor does turn. It is also a cruise truck
but the cruise is not working. It is an extremely nice original
Bullnose interior.
Mechanically this truck is excellent and it runs and drives great.
The engine is the 7.5L 460 V8 that runs strong with no issues or
red flags that we found. It has an Edelbrock 4 Barrel Carb but the
rest of the engine appears to be stock. The transmission is the C6
Automatic that shifts nice and itb is mated to the Borg Warner
Manual Transfer Case. The 4WD works like it should. It has the Ford
10.25 rear axle with 3.55 gears and a limited slip. The front axle
is a Dana 44 TTB with 3.55 gears. This is all sitting on a set of
Ford factory Wheels with hubcaps and new All terrain Tires size
285/75/16. Nice Bullnose trucks are getting hard to find and this
is a great looking one!
