For Sale: 1971 Chevrolet C10 in Greenville, South Carolina

Vehicle Description

This 1971 Chevrolet C10 long-bed pickup is powered by a 5.3-liter Vortec V8 linked with a four-speed automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear axle and finished in Indigo Blue over black vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes power steering, power front disc brakes, 20″ Ridler wheels, McGaughy’s lowering springs, CPP tubular front control arms, and LED headlights. The cabin is outfitted with Dakota Digital instrumentation, an Ididit steering column, TMI bucket seats, power windows, an American Autowire wiring harness, and Vintage Air climate control. The truck was refurbished under prior ownership and acquired by the seller in 2022. Subsequent work consisted of replacing the chrome bumpers and fuel lines, lining the interior with Dynamat sound-deadening panels, respraying the bed with bedliner material, and fitting a custom audio system, CPP flush bed fill fuel tank kit, electric window motors, seat belts, and the TMI center console, door panels, and seats. This modified C10 is now offered with service records and a clean South Carolina title in the seller’s name.

The truck was repainted in Indigo Blue under prior ownership. Details include a Fleetside bed, dual side mirrors, a tonneau cover, a bed-mounted Pipeline Racks bike rack, tinted windows, and LED headlights. Work in 2023 consisted of replacing the chrome bumpers, installing a CPP flush bed fill fuel tank kit, and respraying the bed with bedliner material

The Ridler 20″ wheels are mounted with Lionhart LH-Five tires measuring 245/40 up front and 275/40 out back. The truck has been fitted with a revised front sway bar, McGaughy’s lowering springs, and CPP ball joints and tubular upper and lower front control arms. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The TMI center console and bucket seats are trimmed in black vinyl upholstery with microsuede inserts and the door panels feature houndstooth cloth inserts. Equipment includes body-color steel panels, Vintage Air climate control, an American Autowire wiring harness, and Chevrolet-branded rubber floor mats. Work in 2023 consisted of lining the interior with Dynamat sound-deadening material, replacing the shifter cable, and fitting electric window motors, seat belts, aftermarket speakers, and a Dual CD stereo.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted to an Ididit tilting column and frames Dakota Digital VHX instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for battery voltage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 3k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 5.3-liter Vortec V8 was installed under prior ownership and is fitted with a custom air intake, a Spectre conical air filter, long-tube exhaust headers, and an aluminum radiator with dual PCM-controlled cooling fans. The fuel sending unit and fuel lines were replaced in 2023.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear axle with 3.73:1 gears. A dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers and a second set of bullet-style mufflers terminates before the rear axle.
