Wonderful red trans am 1979 with solid engine and transmission. Matching numbers car. Drives great and looks great. AC is now fixed!! Interior looks great, new rear sail, new rear arm rests, new rear seat covers. Car has been taken care of and the engine drives like the mileage may be correct. Strong Engine and transmission. Previous owner put in shifter and steering wheel. New speakers for door panels and new door handles are installed. New pictures showing underneath, which looks clean!! The new interior parts too are added now. Car used to be silver and was painted under previous owner. As all the older cars, true mileage unknown, but engine runs and is very strong engine
Great car, update, my 5th car arrived 2 weeks ago. Sold the two Corvettes, now down to three cars. I am selling on of the three Trans Ams. The new car is another red trans am 1978 very similar to what I drove in college over 30 years ago. I am keeping the 1978 Trans Am. I am excited, but my wife says we dont need five cars. I agree and will be putting a few of them online to sell. Which ever sells, will keep the rest. Update, I just sold the 77 red corvettes, I had a 74 and 77, both matching numbers and have three trans am cars, two red and one 1979 Daytona 500 10th Anniversary that you can see in the background. Now selling this Trans Am is my focus.
Will consider a strong offer on the Daytona 500 1979 10th Anniversary Trans Am.
I researched and paid for inspections on all my cars, this one was solid in many ways, engine, transmission and paint was in good shape. This is a great driver, fun car. VIN says one of the first 2100 cars made that year?
