Finished in her original paint - Black - complemented by an
outstanding Tan leather interior and Black convertible top; she is
flawless, the car offers the very rare manual transmission option
which was common in Europe but not here in the US. This grand
touring roadster is just beautiful and is one of the nicest

car is as good as it gets and there are very few R107 280 SL's
anywhere.
This 1984 Mercedes Benz 280SL was purchased 4 years ago by the
current owner from the estate of the original owner of 28 years.
Powered by her original 2.8 liter Inline 6 motor that is coupled to
her 5 speed Manual transmission, the car runs and drives as though
brand new. The car has a full complement of options and she had a
major service in 2017 including complete auto temperature heating
and air conditioning; all fluids and belts were replaced and she
was fitted with new Michelin tires. This car needs absolutely
nothing and is being sold reluctantly due to lack of storage
space.
We have the original spare tire and tools, as well as the owners
manuals, she is accident free and has not been driven often except
on clear summer days. Over the years the car has been stored
indoors, has never exposed to winter and only used as summer car.
We also have the original wheels in very good condition mounted
with tires.
