Vehicle Description
Only a short while ago, the idea of a 'muscle truck' was limited to
watching Bigfoot or Gravedigger pummel junk cars at a monster truck
rally. But, then, with trucks like the GMC Syclone in the 1990s,
the Ford SVT Lightning, and the Dodge Ram SRT-10 in the 2000s, we
all could get behind the idea of a fast truck. This 2020 Ford F-150
Raptor we have for you today may be the pinnacle of what the
perfect muscle truck could, and should be. One look at its
beautiful black exterior, complete with color-matched fenders and
bumpers, and it's easy to see why. Sitting on big 20-inch Method
race wheels shod in 35x12.50R20LT Nitto Ridge Grappler tires, this
Raptor gives off an aggression that screams, "Get out of my way!"
And with just 53,413 miles on the odometer, this muscle truck won't
be atrophying anytime soon.
Step inside this Raptor's expansive interior, and you'll be treated
to an enchanting mix of leather, suede, and technology. The
upgraded aftermarket steering wheel, under-seat subwoofer, and amp
hiding in the back seat are all that have been changed from the
stock black interior.
Under the hood, we find a modified version of Ford's powerful
3.5-liter EcoBoost twin-turbo V-6 engine. Engine enhancements
include a Ford EcoBoost Pure750 Turbo Upgrade, Cobb intercooler
kit, AMS turbo inlet tubes, AMS turbine housing adaptor kit, AMS
three-inch downpipe, and Harrison Performance Custom Tune, all of
which add up to a significant bump up from the stock F-150's
already impressive 450 hp. That power is then routed through Ford's
10-speed automatic transmission before trumpeting out of this
truck's black-tipped Borla ATAK exhaust.
