1981 VW Vanagon Westfalia air cooled, 4 speed manual, camper van with pop top, dark brown cabinets, kitchen fridge, propane stove, and sink. Dry camped for 4 days in desert with this setup. Nice vehicle that we’ve outgrown. Lovingly maintained.
- New battery, oil change, and Maintenance report (from Redmond Auto Werks) in June 2024.
- Previous owner had the engine rebuilt and added about 45k miles on it (about 200k miles on the body) and did insulation upgrades. It’s quite a nice camping experience.
- Lots of extras and upgrades and accessories to keep original van nice like adding floor coverings and Wet Okole seat overs to prevent wear. Added braided fuel lines, LED, updated radio, inverter with separate battery, heavy duty lift arms for pop top, and top box added to free up interior storage.
- Manuals, extra parts, and accessories included.
This Westy has been well maintained and the minimal work that has been needed was done by Redmond Werkshop (and previous owner maintained through Wagenschmitt in the U-District, including regular oil changes 20W-50 in the summers and 10W-30 in the winters).
