"The fresh Wide-Track Pontiacs for 1963 were definitive trendsetters. Vertically stacked headlamps provided an aggressive visage, featuring a forward-jutting brow over each pair, with the trademark split grille between them. New, straighter A-pillars were thoroughly modern. More pronounced "Coke bottle" side styling, with its pinch just after the door, enhanced the muscular appearance, and the judicious use of bright trim infused class through understatement. This 1963 Pontiac Catalina 2-door Sport Coupe is powered by a 389 cubic inch motor. Lift off the air cleaner and you will find a Rochester tri-power carburetor setup which provides just the right level of fuel for enhanced performance. The motor is mated to a smooth shifting Borg-Warner T-10 four speed manual transmission.

The tri-color vinyl interior shows very well including the expansive dash that is free of any cracks. All the gauges appear to be working as intended. This Pontiac Catalina boasts power steering and power drum brakes as well as tilt steering wheel and dash mounted tachometer.

The 389 cubic inch motor and tri-color interior is surrounded by a well-presented two-tone paint scheme of Grenadier Red and Cameo Ivory.

Turn the key, pump the gas and you will hear a mellow rumbling from the dual exhaust. Driving this Catalina brings you right back to the days when the big three were fighting it out for supremacy on the road and track.
