Only 35 miles on a complete nut and bolt custom build. It retains
its vintage appeal along with several modern features. Upgrades
include air conditioning, a custom interior, retractable running
boards and much more. The builder specializes in Broncos, he's very
meticulous. We have a thick stack of neatly organized invoices and
200 pictures of the build.
EXTERIOR: It's a very good looking Bronco, again keeping it's
vintage appeal along with some upgrades. The body is outstanding!
No rust or damage, it is arrow straight. It has painted to match
fender flares and the removable hardtop is restored as nice as the
body. Painted in the very popular Area 51 Blue from the new
Broncos, it is polished smooth like glass. The chrome bumpers,
bezels, emblems, handles are new. All the weatherstrips were
replaced. New windshield and gasket. New door latch mechanisms. Oh
yeah, my favorite items are the power retractable running boards
with courtesy lights. It is sitting on 15 inch restored rims
wearing new BFG all terrain tires.
INTERIOR: It's a classy interior! Inside was taken down to a bare
shell, then prepped and painted. It was then lined with Dunamat
sound deadener. Then it was carpeted front to back including the
wheel well humps and tailgate. Custom sport seats in front are
super comfy, the rear seat is upholstered to match. It has
headrests and retractable seat belts added for all 4 passengers to
keep everyone safe. The side panels are upholstered to match the
seats. All new wiring throughout and it has a modern fuse block. We
upgraded the wiper system with a more compact, better looking
system from Newport Engineering. There is a stereo hidden in the
custom console and connects to 4 speakers. If you're lucky enough
to be the driver you will be looking at a beautiful wood rim
steering wheel mounted on a polished tilt column. The dash is
painted slick with new gauges, knobs and dash pad. The air
conditioning controls are neatly installed. The custom installed
roll cage looks great and does not interfere with it's passengers
or the top. If you are sitting in it with the top on you will
notice it has been upgraded with a black headliner which looks
nicer and makes it quieter.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It was meticulously put back together with all
new or restored parts. The heart of it is a rebuilt 302 making
about 300 hp. Upgraded with an aluminum intake, Edelbrock Pro Flow
4 programmable fuel injection, a billet distributor with electronic
ignition and a set of headers. New Vintage Air heat and air
conditioning system, hoses are neatly run behind the fender well.
An aluminum radiator with an electric fan keeps it cool. New power
steering pump, gear box and linkage. It also has power brakes with
a Wilwood master cylinder. All new wiring neatly run, the battery
is properly secured, the washers are hooked up. Upgraded with gas
struts to open the hood. The metal surfaces are painted neatly,
fender wells are coated in Raptor Liner. It looks like every screw
is new, literally!
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The tailgate opens easily with a new latch
mechanism. The inside of the tailgate is carpeted. The seat folds
flat or flips forward making room for cargo.
UNDERSIDE: It looks new under here, because it is! All new or
rebuilt steering and suspension. It is upgraded with progressive
springs and Bilstein gas shocks. It is also upgraded with disc
brakes at all four wheels. All new lines, stainless braided hoses,
and e-brake assembly. Custom fuel tank with new braided lines,
electric fuel pump and sending unit. Custom all stainless exhaust
with x-pipe and Magnaflow mufflers. Looking up at the motor it is
spotless and has a new starter. The trans is upgraded with a
completely rebuilt AOD automatic overdrive. The transfer case and
both differentials were rebuilt by Fort Worth Gear & Axle. Custom
drive shaft leads back to a rear end with 3.73 gears. The floors
and chassis are spotless metal coated with durable black Raptor
Liner.
SERVICE: We inspected the vehicle and got it dialed in. We
installed a PCV hose, tuned the carb, adjusted reverse light
switch, upgraded with a compact wiper kit, installed an antenna,
gave it an alignment, replaced the brake light switch, adjusted
door lock mechanisms, adjusted rear hatch, and adjusted the hood
latch.
Now that I've talked to the builder, looked through the
documentation and inspected the vehicle, I am impressed! Wow, it's
a top-notch build of a very desirable Bronco. Ready to be enjoyed,
driven, and shown off!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to
assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are
answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video
that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are
displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an
appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment
there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car,
your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year
