This 99 Honda Civic is one of the best cars I ever owned and probably ever will have owned! It drives really smoothly and is super reliable. I work on cars so since this has been my daily driver for 10 years I have kept up with all of it needs. I’ve given it all the tuneups it’s needed throughout those years, oil changes and new tires to keep it safe!
The original engine was not well taken car of before I bought it, (it never over heated or blew it just never held a good seal on the head) so I Found the exact same engine with 130,000 miles on it.
This has been my daily driver for the last 10 years. I put the used engine in six months ago. I have driven it 45 minutes back-and-forth to work every day for four of those months and continue to drive it locally and to LA and I’ve never had a problem with this new engine. When I was on Highway Miles to LA I got 40 miles per gallon but typically I’ve always gotten more in the 30s around town and work.
These models are soooooo easy to work on! 4 years ago I changed a blown radiator on the side of the freeway! It only took me Two days to put an engine in. And drove right off! If you work on cars there are sooooo many parts available at junk yards for this model, Because often people like to race them so it is hard to find one intact like this.
-New tires which have less then 5 hundred miles on them.
-New spark plug wires
-cd and usb and aux radio
-All of the wiring is there for a sub and amp if u want to install one
-back seats fold down for larger storage space
-No A/C I’ve always just roll down my windows I’ve never been an AC person so I didn’t install it in this vehicle. But I’ve heard it is not very difficult to add it
I have kept up with everything on this vehicle so everything works. All the lights, all the blowers, The trunk hood and gas latches are in tacked and working.
The paint on the whole car is original except for the hood. Unless you were looking very closely you can’t tell the difference. At the bottom of the pictures are a few pictures of some of the blemishes on the vehicle little scuffs it has from 25 years of life.
Overall this car is a really clean looking vehicle and I will be sad to see it go. I can honestly say it probably will be the best car I’ve ever owned in my life.
