with Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires. The SSR was equipped from the
factory with a ZQ8 sport suspension featuring an independent front
and five-link solid-axle rear setup with front and rear stabilizer
bars. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated disc
brakes. he twin heated and power-adjustable high-back bucket seats
are upholstered in Ebony leather. Body-color wraparound trim
accents the cabin, while satin chrome trim adorns the dash, center
console, and door panels. Equipment includes a color-keyed
waterfall console as well as an in-dash six-disc CD changer, air
conditioning, and cruise control. The leather-wrapped multifunction
steering wheel frames SSR-branded instrumentation including a
140-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel
level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer
indicates 8k miles. The 5.3-liter Vortec 5300 V8 was factory rated
at 290 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. The battery was
reportedly replaced in March 2024. Power is sent to the rear wheels
through a four-speed automatic transmission and a Torsen
limited-slip differential.
