Vehicle Description
This 2003 Chevrolet SSR was purchased new by the previous owner at
Paul Masse Chevrolet in East Providence, Rhode Island. The truck is
finished in Slingshot Yellow over Ebony leather upholstery, and it
is powered by a 5.3-liter V8 mated to a four-speed automatic
transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a
power-folding hardtop, satin chrome running boards, a sport
suspension, heated power-adjustable twin bucket seats, remote
keyless entry, a CD stereo, and air conditioning. This SSR is
offered with a window sticker, manufacturer's literature, service
records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the
seller's name. The SSR was built on a modified version of the
GMT360 platform shared with the contemporary TrailBlazer SUV, and
its styling was inspired by the Chevrolet Advance Design family of
trucks. This example is finished in Slingshot Yellow with a
color-matched hardshell tonneau cover and a power-retractable
hardtop. Additional features include flush-mounted halogen
headlights bisected by a satin-finished chevron bar as well as
flush-mounted taillights, power-operated heated side mirrors,
integrated satin chrome running boards, and dual polished exhaust
tips. The carpeted cargo bed is accented with wood strips and
features integrated side-saddle cargo area storage. Silver-finished
19? front and 20? rear five-spoke cast-aluminum wheels are mounted
with Goodyear Eagle tires. The SSR was equipped from the factory
with a ZQ8 sport suspension featuring an independent front and
five-link solid-axle rear setup with front and rear stabilizer
bars. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated disc
brakes. The twin heated power-adjustable high-back bucket seats are
upholstered in Ebony leather. Body-color wraparound trim accents
the cabin, while satin chrome trim adorns the dash, center console,
and door panels. Equipment includes a color-keyed waterfall console
as well as a CD stereo, air conditioning, and cruise control. The
leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames SSR-branded
instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm
tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil
pressure. The digital odometer shows 15k miles, all of which were
added under prior ownership. A service record from January 2017
notes that the instrument panel cluster was replaced. The 5.3-liter
Vortec 5300 V8 was factory rated at 290 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of
torque.
