Description:
This go-kart is said to have been built by Little Roadsters and
designed to resemble a 1970s Porsche 911 cabriolet in the style of
a 3.0 Carrera RS. The kart features white fiberglass bodywork over
a tubular steel frame, and power is sent to the rear axle via a
6.5-horsepower Buffalo single and a forward/reverse transmission.
Features include gold "Carrera" graphics, a whale tail spoiler,
headlights, rear drum brakes, gold-color 8? steel wheels, a side
mirror, dual black vinyl seats, and an electric starter. This
Carrera RS-style go-kart is now offered at no reserve in Fort
Lauderdale, Florida, on a bill of sale.
Interior:
The cockpit features seats upholstered in black vinyl with faux
stitching along with black door panels, a floor mat, and a faux
boot cover. Forward and reverse are selected via a floor-mounted
shifter, with a handbrake positioned between the seats. The
911-style dashboard features faux gauges and air vents as well as a
three-spoke steering wheel with a Cougar-branded center hub. An
electric starter key is positioned on the right along with an
engine cut-off button and controls for the turn signals, lights,
and horn.
Exterior:
The fiberglass bodywork is finished in white and features matching
bumpers, a plastic windscreen, a white whale tail spoiler, and a
faux heckblende. Carrera scripts line the lower doors and sides,
while Porsche logos are present on the hood and rear decklid.
Additional features include a front air intake, a side mirror, rear
bumperettes, and a faux exhaust outlet.
Drivetrain:
The rear decklid opens to reveal a 200cc Buffalo single that was
factory rated at 6.5 horsepower and is mated to a single-speed
transmission with reverse. A 12-volt battery is mounted on the
right side. Gold-and silver-painted 8? steel wheels wear bias-ply
tires. The steel chassis is finished in black and is fitted with
coilover suspension, while braking is via rear drums.
