Custom GT Modified along the lines of a Cobra features Factory Ebony Black exterior w/Sunroof, Silver Ghost Flames, custom hood and valance body kit, shaved door handles w/Poppers, AFS 17" wheels. Originally a 5-speed car now converted to a race 4R70W auto-trans, 347 stroker motor, not a stock Fox GT but now a custom Cobra Street legal car. 347 Stroker Motor has an FRP block, Callies crank, forged internals, Edelbrock Victor heads, roller cam and rockers w/bee-hive springs, Trick-Flow R intake, BBK fuel system, Pro-M MAF, NX-175 wet shot, custom full exhaust w/cats and 3" Dr X-Gas pipes - Loud! Undocumented dyno results showed 424rwhp/465ftlbs on motor and 563rwhp/613ftlbs on NX. Lots of 'extras'! Currently runs a Ford 4R70W custom race trans w/Pioneer Industries Stallion torque converter and a trans-brake, B&M shifter, alum. driveshaft, still has the 3rd pedal if you want to go back to a manual. Front/Rear 5-lug conversion w/4-wheel disc brakes, Hurst Line-lock, US race steel axles, 8.8 rear w/Steeda 3-link race bars and Steeda springs etc., frame stiffeners, Solid! Clear and clean WA title w/no brands, fully street legal!
Added some new pics showing the body from different angles today, 8/19, after washing the car. Added a cold start, walkaround, drive video on 8/20 of this car to give more to go on for buyers. The motor never got up to operating temperature on the drive so I never got on it but you get an idea of drivability at least. My wife was in the car with me taking the video and my kids and grandkids would never forgive me if something happened to her! The car looks good, sounds good (a little loud maybe), and does run good as well in short it gets lots of attention whether good or not can be up for debate maybe. The car has some serious time and money in it as you can see and if you are a good 'wrench' as well as a 'shoe' then this may be just for you!
I've been involved in HP and sports cars many years so I will tell you from my perspective this car is a 'red-hot' bargain at this price, look around at the asking prices of other 'comparable cars' and you may understand what I mean. If the current trans setup is not to your liking I will offer to the buyer a good T-56 Cobra 6-speed manual trans with a custom driveline for the Fox for additional dollars after the purchase is completed. I have thought about going back to a manual trans setup but the current auto trans is fun and easy to drive with.
