This 1979 Toyota FJ40 has been recently fitted with a 5.3LS engine with retro fuel injection. A new Dakota Digital gauge cluster, 4 wheel disk brake master cylinder, 4 wheel disk brakes, Axle rebuild, custom exhaust, transmission rebuild and transfer case rebuild, new champion radiator, new hoses, AC condenser for original stock AC unit, new battery, custom fabricated air cleaner cover, custom fabricated skid plate LED headlights and 5 new BF Goodrich All-Terrain 33” tires were all recently added to the truck. The interior looks stock, with an original center console (hiding a Bluetooth stereo) and rollbar, new headliner, manual 4 speed transmission, power steering, factory A/C, jump seats w/belts in the back and standard original seats in the front. Warn 8000lb winch. Paint is in decent shape but there are a few areas of chipping and peeling from the restoration done in 2009, so will, at some point likely need some paint work, or repainting, done (see pictures for examples). Less than 500 miles on the new engine, transmission, brake work. Runs fantastic, mechanically sound, looks great and is fun to drive this head turner!
