Highly detailed, six-figure street rod builds rarely come available on the classic car market and even fewer have a history as unique as this incredible 1932 Chevrolet Confederate Roadster. This stunning, all steel 1932 Chevrolet Confederate street rod underwent a show quality restoration prior to a Notre Dame Alumnus (Dr.Nigor) purchasing it in 1995. At the time that Dr. Nigor purchased the street rod, the Chevrolet had a mere 3700 actual miles documented by the title. The following year, the Chevrolet was stripped back down and rebuilt into the eye-catching tribute to Notre Dame that it is today. Over $100,000 was invested into the unique and very detailed build of this Chevrolet Confederate street rod which was completed in 1996. When Dr. Nigor passed away in 2009, he left his prized street rod to the University of Notre Dame, who owned and maintained the roadster until 2015, making this the only street rod that Notre Dame ever owned. This great 1932 Chevrolet roadster has been very well preserved with just 1,100 miles showing since the build. The Blue metallic exterior still presents in excellent condition and shines very well. The exterior is nicely complimented by its custom Gold vinyl folding soft top, Gold pinstriping, hand-painted "ND" emblems, hand-painted images of the iconic Golden Dome and Gold painted wheels fitted with custom knock-off style hubcaps. The Chevrolet's custom Blue leather interior is in excellent condition throughout and features a leather bench seat, custom molded dash, VDO gauges, an aftermarket AM/FM stereo (in-op) and tilt steering column. Powering this fantastic street-rod is a supercharged, big-block Mopar 440 cubic inch V8 fitted with a BDS 671 blower and dual four-barrel Holley carburetors. Transferring power from the very potent big-block V8 to the 9" Ford rearend is a 727 Torqueflite 3-speed automatic transmission. Both the engine and transmission perform just as they should and deliver more than enough power to effortlessly pull this street-rod down the road while planting any passengers firmly against the rear of their seat. The suspension has been nicely upgraded with coil-over springs and shocks at all four corners and the Ford 9" rear has been fitted with 3.25:1 final drive gears, making this a very highway friendly street rod. This street rod is fitted with a Wilwood 4-wheel disc brake system, giving the street-rod plenty of stopping power. Included in the sale of this fantastic street-rod is binders/folders of receipts and paperwork documenting the build and history that comes along with the Chevrolet. If you are in the market for a very unique and show worthy street rod with a great story and is turn-key ready for that spirited weekend cruise to your local cruise-in or car show, then you will want to take a very close look at this gorgeous 1932 Chevrolet Confederate roadster street-rod.
