This 1966 Mustang Fastback was upgraded to a GT350SR by Unique Performance in Farmers Branch, TX in 2005. It was built for a friend of Carroll Shelby and he took a personal interest in the build. The body is straight and rust free finished in white with painted on blue racing stripes. The engine is a 351 punched out to a 408, the transmission is a Tremec TKO 5-speed and the differential a Currie 9" limited slip with 3.89:1 ratio, it is fitted with a 22 gallon fuel cell as well. It has power 4 wheel Baer disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. Power assist rack and pinion steering and Unique Performance coil over front and rear suspension with sub-frame connectors. Leather Shelby signature bucket seats, a wood rimmed steering wheel, and Old Air Products air conditioning round it out.
