This 1966 Mustang Fastback was upgraded to a GT350SR by Unique Performance in Farmers Branch, TX in 2005. It was built for a friend of Carroll Shelby and he took a personal interest in the build. The body is straight and rust free finished in white with painted on blue racing stripes. The engine is a 351 punched out to a 408, the transmission is a Tremec TKO 5-speed and the differential a Currie 9" limited slip with 3.89:1 ratio, it is fitted with a 22 gallon fuel cell as well. It has power 4 wheel Baer disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. Power assist rack and pinion steering and Unique Performance coil over front and rear suspension with sub-frame connectors. Leather Shelby signature bucket seats, a wood rimmed steering wheel, and Old Air Products air conditioning round it out. This car is sorted out running and driving excellent and needs nothing but to be happily driven and enjoyed!
