When people think about muscle cars the Chevelle produced from
1968-72 jumps right to mind. The Chevelle 2nd generation was the GM
A-body, the perfect size for anything you wanted to stuff under the
hood to make your ride jump off the line when commanded to do so.
Their bold lines leave a lasting, timeless style of the American
muscle era. Chevrolet's Chevelle was one of the most successful
nameplates. Body styles include coupes, sedans, convertibles, and
station wagons. Super Sport versions were produced through the 1973
model year and Lagunas from 1973 through 1976. After a three-year
absence, the El Camino was reintroduced as part of the new Chevelle
lineup. The Chevelle also provided the platform for the Monte
Carlo, which was introduced in 1970.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS
396 Tribute for consideration. Although not the original engine,
this SS has the iconic 396 Big Block under the hood. Finished in
Red over a black interior this Chevelle has a commanding presence.
This is a nice straight car and the body looks great. The paint
shows very well on the top and bottom. The 396 V8 runs excellently
and has a visceral rumble to it. The interior is clean and has held
up really well. The Seats are in like new condition. The doors
locks and windows function as they should. Highlights include: A
new Vintage Air kit, Bluetooth radio, new speakers, Fast EFI Fuel
Injection, a new 4L80E transmission, Dakota gauges, Holly mufflers,
and a refinished dash.
This 1969 Chevelle is a beautiful car that would make a great
summer cruiser. Whether you want to show off this classic muscle
car or simply hop in and drive it, this 69 Chevelle is everything
that's right about muscle cars.
