From the Greg Grams C-2 luxury and comfort Corvette collection.
Greg started selling these Corvettes in the early 70s as used cars
and kept selling them as they became collector items. Recently he
has assembled an impressive collection of 1963-1967 Corvettes
focusing on air-conditioned coupes. He has run each one through our
shop and they are very functional and dialed in ready to enjoy. He
took the time to assemble display boards with miscellaneous
literature, NCRS shipping reports, window stickers and more. Each
car comes with a jack and spare. Since the early 70s when he
started collecting, these cars have not been known to go down in
value. Drive an investment!
Very desirable factory air conditioning and a 4-speed! 69,607
actual miles marked on the title and the car speaks for itself. It
was restored or maintained as needed and has a binder stuffed with
receipts. It also includes a display board with NCRS shipping
report, owner's manual, and literature.
EXTERIOR: Awesome styling of the coupe with a boattail design. The
body appears to be in great shape, I did not find even a crack. The
headlights fit nicely and work properly, it has correct T-3
headlights. The doors open and close effortlessly. Repainted its
original Sunfire Yellow and it has a smooth glossy finish. The
chrome looks great. I believe that is the original glass including
the windshield which is an indicator of low miles. The factory side
exhaust looks great and sounds even better! The knock off wheels
look so much better than the hubcaps.
INTERIOR: When I sat in the car is when I figured out it is a low
mile car. The majority of it looks to be in very good original
condition. The front carpet was replaced and probably the console.
The dash pads are excellent, the instruments are clean and
functional, knobs and glovebox are clean. Original AM FM and power
antenna work. It has correct 6,000 redline tachometer for the 350
hp motor. Actually, everything appears to be working except the
clock. The interior lights all work. The seats and door panels
appear to be original and look great. Headliner and visors look
good too.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: That's the original #s matching 300 hp motor
with 350 hp upgrades. We verified casting codes, dates, stamp pad
and it has the matching VIN. Upgraded with a factory aluminum
intake and a Holley carb. The finned aluminum valve covers also
indicate 350 hp. It has power steering to make driving easy and
factory air conditioning to make it comfortable. Air cost 10% of
the price of the car! It's rare, desirable and it is working.
Overall nice motor compartment with correct air cleaner, ignition
shielding, radiator with reproduction hoses and clamps.
UNDERSIDE: This has independent suspension front and back, it looks
like it has been completely rebuilt. The steering also looks
rebuilt. It also features disc brakes at all four wheels, the
e-brake assembly looks new. Looking up at the motor it has fresh
Chevy Orange and correct screw on canister oil filter. Original
dated and VIN number matching Muncie 4-speed trans. It is difficult
to read the rear end code, but it looks like it is a 3.08 gear and
dated correctly. The frame is solid, floors look good, they have
been lightly undercoated. The spare tire is complete.
SERVICE: We inspected the car and replaced the heater control
valve, charged the a/c, lubed the tachometer cable and replaced
inner door handle mechanism.
Unabused Corvette with very desirable options in the very desirable
coupe body design. Shifting gears and hearing those pipes is an
awesome experience, I love it! This is a proven investment car you
can enjoy.
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to
assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are
answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video
that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are
displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an
appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment
there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car,
your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year
membership.
