From the Greg Grams C-2 luxury and comfort Corvette collection.
Greg started selling these corvettes in the early 70s as used cars
and kept selling them as they became collector items. Recently he
has assembled an impressive collection of 1963-1967 Corvettes
focusing on air conditioned coupes. He has run each one through our
shop and they are very functional and dialed in ready to enjoy. He
took the time to assemble display boards with miscellaneous
literature, NCRS shipping reports, window stickers and more. Each
car comes with a jack and spare. Since the early 70s when he
started collecting, these cars have not been known to go down in
value. Drive an investment!
Stunning color combination! California car loaded with luxury
options including factory a/c, power steering, power brakes and
more. #s matching driveline. NCRS Top Flight winner in 2001 and
2005. That means Corvette judges closely inspected the originality
of this car and gave it passed with top honors. It also has an NCRS
shipping report, it was sold new on Dec 30th 1964 at Moriarty
Chevrolet, Watsonville CA
EXTERIOR: One of the best designed bodies ever! It's even better
being a coupe; the boattail rear and curved window is awesome.
Sleek hidden headlights upfront with correct T-3 bulbs. The body is
in excellent shape, no damage and it fits right. The doors shut
like a new car. Repainted its original Nassau Blue and although it
is an older paint job with imperfections it shows really well. It
has its original glass including the windshield. The chrome and
trim shines nice. The knock off wheels are a knock out! It has
radial Goldline tires that look great too.
INTERIOR: The white against the blue is killer! I'm sitting in the
car right now and these bright white seats also have new cushions.
I'm looking at a beautiful teakwood wheel too. The entire dash area
is excellent: gauges, knobs, dash pads etc. the gauges all work,
the clock was rebuilt with quartz movement. Very slight staining on
the front carpet with fresh matching mats. Rear carpet is
excellent. In the rear compartment it has a jack and lead hammer
for the spinners. The door panels, headliner and visors are a
pristine white. The interior lights all work.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Original VIN number matching 327-300 hp. It has
stock manifolds, valve covers, dual snorkel air cleaner and
ignition shielding. The carb, fuel filter and choke tube are
correct. The factory air conditioning is the star of the show, it
cost 10% of the price of the car when it was new! It blows cold and
has been upgraded with modern Freon. Other features include power
steering and brakes. Everything looks clean and proper.
UNDERSIDE: It is exceptionally clean! The original raw fiberglass
floors are in excellent shape. The spare tire carrier looks great
too. The frame and chassis components are solid, smooth metal. It
is independent suspension front and back which look like they have
been rebuilt. The power steering looks new. It is the first year
for disc brakes and it has them at all four wheels. They look fresh
and work great. The e-brake is hooked up. It has a chambered
exhaust system that sounds like side exhaust. Looking up at the
motor it is spotless Chevy Orange and has correct canister oil
filter, lower ignition shielding and a fresh starter. The
Powerglide automatic shifts smooth. In back is the original rear
end dated and coded to this car.
SERVICE: We inspected the car and replaced the vacuum modular on
the trans, charged the a/c, replaced rear leaf links and right
lateral arm.
I fall in love with each one of these Vettes as I write the ads.
Right now, this is my favorite, the colors are what first hits you.
Then realizing it has air conditioning, power steering, power disc
brakes and an automatic trans, boy what a pleasure to drive. Then
of course the logical side loves that it is #s matching. Having 2
Top Flight awards sets the mind at ease too. Enjoy an
investment!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to
assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are
answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video
that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are
displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an
appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment
there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car,
your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year
membership.
