About the model

The Ford Shelby Mustang GT/SC was a variant of the S-197 I Shelby Mustang that debuted for the 2007 model year.  The Shelby GT/SC was essentially a supercharged version of the S-197 I Shelby Mustang GT with a superior suspension package. Several horsepower levels were available, with this car receiving the highest horsepower rating at 550 hp and 12 lbs. of boost. These cars were fitted with a Whipple supercharger added to the 4.6L V8 powerplant and puts out 550hp. Production of the S-197 I Shelby Mustang GT/SC ended in 2008.
