This handsome convertible is a very rare (1 of 6) Studebaker
Daytona and is a former museum car with just 4,500 documented
original miles. Option code 22 is a "4-speed floor trans" a
Borg-Warner T10 transmission and was available only with a V8. The
"Jet Thrust" 289 V8, also known as the "Avanti" engine was only
available in South Bend, Indiana built cars and therefore no Jet
Thrust cars were built after January 1st, 1964. HISTORY: This super
rare Studebaker comes well documented with paperwork to prove its
originality and those super low miles. You won't find a more
pristine example. Designer Brooke Stevens filled the '64 Daytona
with innovations and style in a valiant effort to save the company.
