1965 Chevrolet Corvette - Absolutely stunning example of mid-year Corvette style and performance that everyone dreams of! Nicely documented 4-owner car since purchased brand new, which never left the same town in NY until 2022! Original Protect-o-Plate, owner's manuals and the coveted dealer issued "knock-out" keys are included. Beautifully frame-off restored about 5 years-2,000 miles ago with alot of attention to detail and authenticity in mind. Very RARE production car and numbers matching "L-76" 327/365hp optioned with a 4-spd manual transmission and posi-rear. Correct "HH-code" engine with all correct castings, correct Winters aluminum intake, correct Holley carb, correct heads and even the "unicorn" 7942 exhaust manifolds. Factory 4-wheel disc brakes were a nice option added for the 1965 model year as were the Kelsey Hayes "knockoff" aluminum wheels that are wrapped in new whiteline radial tires. Car runs, drives and shifts excellent while the rumble of factory style sidepipes help announce to everyone that you've arrived. Exterior is flawlessly finished in the correct factory shade of "Glen Green" with excellent chrome and trim from front to back. Body shows laser straight with great lines and gaps. Everything opens and closes with ease and overall fitment is precise. A new white convertible contrasts nicely for those days you may need some shade. This was a factory hardtop car as well however there is not one with the car at this time. (We do have one that could be available for purchase but needs restoration) Interior is draped in the RARE two-tone white vinyl with black trim and really offsets the dark green luxuriously along with the gorgeous teak wood steering wheel. Everything works on this car including headlights, lights, gauges, radio and clock. Engine is fully detailed and the underside is clean as well. The C2 corvette market has always been flooded with collector interest but the good "real deal" ones are always hard to find. Sure the big blocks will bring big bucks but these snappy, high-horse small block cars are an absolute blast to own and enjoy. Here is your chance to get behind the wheel of an NCRS quality piece of Corvette history at a fraction of the restoration costs. Time for you to drop the top and join the club!
