Vehicle Description
Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1994 Land Rover Discovery,
finished in Savarin White over beige cloth upholstery. It was
ordered with a rare and desirable five-speed manual transmission,
and without sunroofs. Paint shows well with no dents or dings and
only a few minor touch-ups; body is very solid with no known rust
aside from some minor surface corrosion on the front and rear
bumpers. Equipment includes a front brush guard and Hella off-road
lights. Castor 16-inch alloy wheels are wearing 235/85 BF Goodrich
all-terrain tires. An OME 2-inch suspension lift provides improved
ground clearance and just the right stance.
The manually-adjustable front seats are trimmed in beige cloth;
interior is tidy original condition showing only minor wear and no
significant damage. All gauges, lights and indicators are working
and the A/C blows cold. The Land Rover branded AM/FM cassette
stereo powers on but will not accept the security code written in
the book.
Under the hood is an aluminum 3.9-liter Rover V8 which sends power
to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a
dual-range transfer case with a locking center differential. The
valve cover gaskets, ignition wires, battery, serpentine belt, fan
clutch, and engine oil were replaced in the past year. This Disco
runs and drives quite nicely, but we have noted minor wear in the
second and third gear synchros consistent with mileage.
We've always appreciated the design language of the Series I
Discovery, which draws on many cues from the Range Rover Classic -
this spec is particularly interesting given the color, five-speed
manual gearbox and sunroof delete. For more information about this
