1929 Ford Custom TBucket
This custom vehicle features a 27 T fiberglass body on a 29 Model A
Frame, it is titled as a 1929 Ford.
A premium custom build by legendary builders such as Denny Olson,
Bob Davisdson, Jasper's, and Bob Mortan Sr. The list of names is
mind boggling. Only 2,631 Miles!
Celebrating 77th anniversary of Hot Rodding the T-Bucket. In 1959
Geral Lloyd "Kookie" Kookson gave the American kids the new thing,
"The T-Bucket Roadster." Thanks to the TV show Sunset Strip, a new
way of talking and the T-Bucket took over the streets. This craze
was fueled by the 1957 issue of Life Magazine featuring the Kookie
T. From this moment on the "T" became fashionable for the
terminally cool! From the Dry Lakes to the circle tracks, and the
streets, if you did drive a T-Bucket you were with it.
There is no other "T" build like this one. A true custom statement
built by Washington's famed custom build shop, "Street Roads by
Denny." Take one look and you'll know this is a true top end show
build. The under carriage is sparkling in gold paint. This beauty
was made to place mirrors under her at the shows. The running
boarders are made to be used. The body has working doors. The Inca
Gold paint takes on its own life in the natural sunlight. The
stripping was done by Bob Davidson another WA custom car treasure.
The black canvas top is easily removed. Two wing nuts, and two side
nuts...done! in just moments you have an open roadster!
The white interior is very comfortable and stylish. The upholstery
was done by Jasper's Custom Auto. A tilt steering wheel for easy
entry and exit. An array of gauages by VDO that includes fuel,
0-120 mph, oil pressure, and a clock. A Jensen stereo system with
MP3, ESP, and a 10-disc CD changer.
Power is a Ford 302ci built by Bob Morran Sr. of Wells St. Garage.
The 302 has a defiant growl. No lack of power! Matched to a C4
automatic transmission and a Ford 9" Posi rear. Fuel cell and an
Optima battery. Stopping power is thanks to front disc brakes and
rear drums.
The '29 "T" comes with a matching trailer. Yes, this fantastic
build was even built with a trailer package! Car covers for both
the "T" and one for the trailer. This is an incredibly fine model
"T" and has an unbelievable ride.
Take it home for $39,995.00!
This vehicle is located in Edmonds, Washington.
