The beautiful 1951 Pontiac Chieftain was ahead of its time and
still stands out from the crowd today! You don't see too many of
these around, so pulling up to a show in one is sure to draw
attention.
They are powered by a 239 cubic inch inline 8-cylinder engine that
produced 116 horsepower! That is mated to a Hydramatic 4-speed
automatic transmission that shifts on the column.
This particular example is very original and shows incredibly well.
It has had one repaint in Bright Red which looks fantastic! The
interior is all protected by the plastic seat covers. The original
radio which says "Chieftain" on it is a super cool touch. Right
below that is a feature you don't see any more, a tissue
holder!
Steel wheels with Pontiac hub caps are wrapped in wide white wall
bias ply tires which really complete the rich look of the exterior.
The red paint is paired with a white roof, plenty of chrome, a
continental kit, and fender skirts for a classic and classy look no
matter what angle you're looking from.
Under the hood is about as stock as they come, and is ready to show
off anywhere you go! The trunk is also ready to show and features a
full-size white wall spare tire and a fire extinguisher, just in
case. Don't miss your chance to own this sweetheart of a 50s car.
It looks great from every angle, and needs nothing but a new owner
to show it off!
