1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu

The Seller has owned this Malibu for 24 years and is the 2nd or 3rd
owner to the best of his memory. The only improvements made to the
vehicle during his ownership were the Engine and Transmission
rebuild and the Body repaint. He states that he would drive this
vehicle anywhere, but with some caution since it is a 57 year old
car!
- Body/Paint: The Malibu went through a body and paint
restoration in the early 2000's. The paint was put back to the
original color but more metallic was added at that time. Factory
Chevy Rally Wheels were installed. All the glass is intact and the
windshield was replaced 20 years ago.
- Interior: The Original Interior Upholstery is intact on the
seats and headliner but new door panels and new carpet were
installed in the early 2000's. All the lights work as do all the
knobs and the turn signals. The radio is aftermarket but the other
dash components remain original. The trunk is showing the original
floormat and the spare tire along with the jack, are present. The
rust was removed when the body was restored in the early
2000's.
- Drivetrain: 350 CID V-8, TH350 Automatic Transmission, Engine
and Transmission Rebuilt in 2002. The Sellers Dad is a mechanic and
all work was performed by him and the Seller. The engine was
enhanced with a shiftkit and a duplicate of a 350hp camshaft was
installed and the carburetor was upgraded to a Quadrojet. The
original Engine and Transmission also go with the sale.
Chassis: The car has all the original springs and the suspension
has not been upgraded. The original steering sector is present and
there is no play in the steering wheel. Custom exhaust was
installed in the early 2000's and it has the original exhaust
maniforld. There are Drum brakes all around.
Components: The windshield wipers are present and are in working
order. No electric seats, cruise control or autronic eye. The
vehicle is equipped with an upgraded cassette player but the
original radio goes with the sale.
