Finished in the rare and original color "Copper Poly" (paint code 96), and combined with a beige leather interior (trim code 95), this car offers more legroom than many New York apartments. With only 8,150 units produced, the '55 Eldorado Series 62 Convertible is one of the most sought-after Cadillacs from the post-war era.
As the most expensive model, the '55 Eldorado Series 62 Convertible featured a unique rear design, with tall, slender, pointed tailfins and dual round taillights midway down the fenders. Standard equipment included a custom interior, power brakes, power seats, power windows, radio, heater, and whitewalls.
What truly sets this Eldorado apart are the unique features such as the ribbed chrome saddle moldings extending from the windshield to the rear window pillar and the dual hood ornaments. It is equipped with all the correct Eldorado options, including Sabre Spoke wheels, a 331ci 270 hp engine with dual carburetors, and the rare fiberglass 'parade boots' for the convertible top, as well as the iconic and highly coveted Continental Kit.
