Vehicle Description
This week, Canyon State Classics brings to market a 2003 Volkswagen
Eurovan Westfalia Weekender in Emerald Green Metallic over original
VW flannel cloth. This One-Owner van was sold new in Santa Cruz CA
and remained in the area under the watchful eye of its keeper until
recently. The final generation of the VW Transporter (T4) was
referred to as the "EuroVan" in the States. Of all the available
trims, the Weekender was the second highest trim EuroVan and
features a full pop-top with tent, special second row seating
configuration, under-seat cooler and more!
The Camper starts off as a long-wheelbase commercial EuroVan (17 ft
long) converted to full Camper/ Weekender spec by Winnebago
Industries. This includes the addition of a pop-up top, two twin
beds, seating for up to six, cooler box, dinette table, closet,
cabinets, and more. The driver and passenger seat are designed to
swivel around and face the table area as well. Dont miss out on
your chance to own a truly versatile and unique all-in-one
camper!
The following is a list of options as this VW is currently
equipped:
-2.8L VR6 V6
-Automatic Transmission
-Full Winnebago Weekender
-Non smoking and no pets during entire time of ownership
-Clean upholstery, upper and lower cushions, blinds and
curtains
-New Hankook Tires
-A/C, door locks, windows, cooler, swivels and table all work
The body on the Van is overall straight and totally solid and rust
free. The exterior is finished in its original color of Emerald
Green Metallic which is gorgeous and was just fully buffed and
waxed. I would describe the overall paint as a very nicely kept
paint with a few small imperfections and chips, which have been
touched up. Remember, this paint is over 30 years old, but looks
great going down the street and still has a high shine and luster!
The clear coat on the pop top is beginning to peel and has been
pictured. The car is riding on nice, original wheels/hubcaps and
has new Hankook tires. All trim, glass, and rubber seals are in
good original condition and have not been altered since new.
The interior is in very good shape all around. The front seats are
in good condition with little ware, which shows the quality of
materials used in this car. The rubber floors are all very nice are
not worn or damaged. The dash is like new and looks great. All
gauges and controls function as they should. The sound system is
all original. All lights, gauges switches, and accessories work as
they should. The rear camper area is close to flawless and all
cabinets are beautiful and all latches and hinges are in excellent
condition. The sliding-door window surround trim is all in-tact
(rare!) The bed cushions look freshly nothing is dirty or has any
kinds of funny smells or ware. The pop up canvas is in good shape
and zippers still seal everything up.
Mechanically, this VW runs GREAT! The van starts right up and
shifts smooth as silk. A lot of time and money was spent under the
hood of this little Bus. Carfax documents most all of the service
history from new. We have put the van through our shop for:
inspection, LOF, brake light switch, tie rods, alignment and
wipers. This thing is ready for its next road trip!
All in all, this is truly one of the coolest VW Campers on the road
today. Its early vintage sets it apart from all of the others. It
has been professionally maintained and truly loved by its previous
owners. This is your chance to get a like new classic camper for a
fraction of the original cost. The car has a clean Arizona title.
Any further questions please call Jon at 480-703-2337. The van is
located in Sunny Mesa, Arizona.
