This lovely XKE was purchased by European Collectibles in 2011 from
a large sports car collection in Arizona and later sold to a local
resident who has thoroughly enjoyed and maintained the Jaguar for
the last fourteen years. The cosmetic restoration, which was done
in the early 2000s, is holding up very well. During the
restoration, some performance modifications were incorporated into
the rebuild, such as higher compression pistons, sport camshafts,
electronic ignition, and Weber carburetors. A recent inspection and
service were completed by a local specialist who couldn't help but
comment on the impressive performance.
This matching numbers Jaguar was rebuilt with a purpose and is
beautifully finished in black with a tan interior.
