1980 Toyota Hilux Pickup, Long Bed, 5 Speed, R20. This truck is very cool and these Hilux's are getting to be very rare and collectable. Great project truck and all fixed up will bring good $. California truck and very low surface rust except one small spot near top of front glass, easy to fix... Underside and rest of truck is super solid with only cosmetic rust. It has 4 bran new tires, comes with bran new stock carburetor, bran new timing chain and sprocket just installed, new water pump and belts just installed, new oil pan gasket and engine gaskets just installed and engine is all cleaned up with fresh tune up, including cap, rotor, wires and plugs etc... I have a bran new carburetor in the box and it needs to be installed. The carb on it currently has a bad choke and it runs fine but but only when fully warmed up when it runs ok. With the new carb installed on this R20 engine it will run great. The new carb cost me $600 and comes with the truck! Like the R22's, these R20 engines are legendary and known for running forever. I have heard of them going 800K miles and even more when taken care of. Unfortunately the truck was vandalized by some kids recently and it now needs a driver side fender, front bumper and valance is munched and needs replaced (see pics). Hood is slightly bumped and can be easily pulled out as damage is slight. I am dropping the price because of the recent damage to mainly the front fender and bumper. Those items are very inexpensive parts online and can be bought/delivered for very low price and easy to install. This is a project truck but these Hiluxes are getting hard to find and they will only go up in value, so I'm firm on the price. The long bed on this truck is huge, esp for a mini and way bigger than the bed in my Ford Ranger. Great investment and really fun!
