Vehicle Description
GT40 P2406
This stunning GT40 MKI is painted Griegio Silverstone with gloss
black twin and sil stripes. The mile deep paint is further accented
by the 18" wineglass style wheels painted deep gloss black, wrapped
in continental extreme contact sport rubbers.
The show stopping paint isn't the only attraction with this
gorgeous MKI. The engine is a Ford racing 5.2 Aluminator XS! 580hp
at 7800RPM! All forged internals, GT500 Block, Ported GT350 heads,
and a Borla 8 stack fuel injection manifold are some of the
features that make this engine a modern masterpiece. The custom
stainless bundle of snakes exhaust is paired to a set of stainless
megaphone exhaust pipes. All of this mated to a new Mendeola
transaxle featuring a traditional 5 speed shift pattern.
Furthering the modern experience, P2406 has been equipped with a
reverse backup mirror / camera to make backing into those car show
spaces effortless!
Authenticity was the Superformance engineers' goal when re-creating
the GT40. It carries the GT40/P chassis number and is built to the
exact standards of the car back in the 1960s. It is so authentic
that over two thirds of the rolling chassis parts are
interchangeable with the original GT40s.
GT40P/2406 is titled as 1965 Superformance in South Carolina and
has 3,866 miles. It is currently available for $249,950.
