More popular than ever, the Ford Bronco is an American 4x4 icon.
This handsome 1968 Bronco Sport has had its body stripped and
refinished in a very appealing shade of Lime Gold Metallic, with a
removable hardtop painted in white. Exterior details include uncut
fenders, stock hubcaps, KC "HiLiTES" LED headlights, LED
taillights, dual side mirrors, a receiver hitch and a 50th
anniversary grille emblem. The spare is covered with a Bronco
logoed cover and affixed to a swing-away rear tire carrier,
allowing more interior space. The 15? steel wheels are painted to
match the body and wear stock polished covers and 235/75 Yokohama
Geolandar A/T-S tires adding to the original classic look of this
early Bronco retains.
Inside, the floorboards are coated with heat-resistant paint and
Rhino Lining textured material and the interior metal surfaces were
repainted to match the exterior along with a custom front speaker
enclosure. Paintwork includes a longhorn skull on the headliner,
broncos on the door panels and a jackalope on the ashtray cover. A
PRP rear bench and front bucket seats trimmed in brown leatherette
with beige cloth inserts and tan piping have been fitted along with
rattlesnake skin visor covers, a black Bailie Bilt roll cage,
Vintage Air cold air conditioning, a Ravelco anti-theft device, a
Tuffy conceal carry security drawer, rear gun racks, a Ritchie
compass, a Cobra CB radio, and an Alpine Bluetooth stereo with an
integrated microphone.
Power and performance is provided by a rebuilt 302 cubic inch V8
mated to a three-speed automatic transmission with less than 2000
miles on the rebuilt engine. Additional equipment includes a
dual-range transfer case, a Howell electronic fuel injection
system, an Edelbrock intake manifold, power steering and
power-assisted front disc brakes.
