Vehicle Description
It is hard not to love this 1983 Jeep J10 4x4 pickup truck.
Originally, Jeep named its pickup trucks the Gladiator. When AMC
purchased Kaiser-Jeep operations in 1970, the Gladiator name was
dropped after 1971. The truck became known as the Jeep Pickup or
J-Series through the end of its production in 1987. Produced in
relatively small numbers, these trucks are hard to find and are
increasingly popular with collectors, especially in this kind of
condition!
Delivered new to Field's Equipment Company in Winter Haven,
Florida, this handsome Sherwood Green Jeep is a great example of a
very rare truck. The timeless styling of this classic Jeep is
complimented with a set of cool and functional old-school side
pipes and a set of classic slotted mag wheels wrapped with Kelly
Safari SUV tires to create a confidant stance. The very clean
interior is trimmed in a contrasting beige color that features
factory air conditioning, original factory AM/FM stereo, tilt
steering column and optional gauge package that includes oil
pressure, water temperature and volt meter. A factory installed
sliding rear window provides access to the cargo bed.

Under the hood looks completely stock with no significant
modifications. A smooth-running 2-barrel, 360 cubic inch V-8 engine
shifted through a 4-speed manual transmission provides plenty of
power and torque to all four wheels when needed. Power steering and
power front disc brakes make operating this 4x4 fun and easy.
The original window sticker, bill of sale, title documentation,
warranty pamphlets, maintenance records, and owner's manual are
still with this remarkably well-preserved truck. We even found the
original build sheet stuck to the bottom of the seat when it came
in! If you are looking for interesting, rare truck with style and
character, this exceptional 1983 Jeep J10 4x4 pickup truck may be
just what you have been searching for. Call today!
