Vehicle Description
The Dodge Dart Demon 340 was regarded in period as being a hot
little muscle car. Dodge proudly proclaimed in advertisements that
"it runs away with everything but the price." The price may have
been small, but the performance was a lot more than being simply
painted on. Performance ran much deeper than the distinctive paint
jobs that the Dodge boys applied to the Demon 340. The Demon 340
came with a 340-cid, 275-hp four-barrel V-8, plus a Rallye
Suspension Package that included heavy-duty torsion bars, front and
rear heavy-duty shocks, heavy-duty rear springs and a front sway
bar.
