1957 Studebaker President Classic, V8, Automatic, PS, PB, Odometer states 54k (thought to be original)
The paint is in amazing condition, was really taken care of (I kept it in the garage and kept it nice and waxed (carnival)) and the colors of Green Metallic and Turquoise.
Interior has been redone in the luxury Commander theme. Everything works well other than the clock and radio. Original drivetrain that starts easy and runs and drives good cold or warm. Driven weekly. Recent suspension work, front end and tires. All lights work, front and rear. Horn works, very loud and classic sound. Windshield wipers work like the vehicle was built yesterday.
OEM Engine is a 259-cid V-8 with a four-barrel carburetor and dual exhausts provided the car with 185 hp, turns over within a second of key turn, engine is a strong V8 yet quiet as a church mouse, you can’t even hear it running. Very strong, lots of torque.
No leaks anywhere! Vehicle is dry and tight, nothing in the undercarriage is wet or moist, truly impressive!
This President is 4 door which is longer with wing windows in front and rear. Long wheels base lots of leg room. Well preserved mostly Original and rust free, a car that’s ready to drive and enjoy.
