We are excited to offer this 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe finished in
Black exterior over Red leatherette interior! This all-steel
example was frame off restored just 2,400 miles ago and comes
well-appointed with upgrades that include an all new Heinzman
Street Rod complete chassis underneath! Further additions consist
of a crate GM 350ci V8/290hp, Turbo-Hydramatic 350 automatic
transmission, modern air conditioning, all new tinted window glass,
billet interior accessories & control handles, and more!
Underneath, you will find a fully painted boxed frame built by
Heinzman with Mustang II independent front suspension to include
power ventilated disc brakes, power rack & pinion steering and
tubular X-member added transmission support & rigidity, along with
their front anti-sway bar and Pete & Jakes adjustable rear gas
shocks.
The brand new V8 engine possesses ceramic coated Patriot block
hugger headers, Edelbrock aluminum intake with matching AVS2 650cfm
carburetor with electric choke. A host of time, energy, and parts
went into a build of this quality! It is worth mentioning all new
body hardware, complete wiring harness with new tilt steering
column, leather-wrapped aluminum steering wheel, new stainless
steel fuel & brake lines, steel 16-gallon gas tank, electric
cooling fan, fuel pump, all suspension bushings, ball joints, tie
rod ends, all of the chassis to body bushings, integrated turn
signals with LED dash indicators, relocated battery tray to the
trunk with auxiliary kill switch and custom cover, Walker radiator,
aluminum water pump, and new dual exhaust system with Xlerator
performance mufflers giving a perfect street rod sound! We would
like to mention the fresh air cowl vent remains functional as well
as the use of a small glove compartment.
Inside you will be treated to a soft, leatherette seat, complete
Classic Instruments gauge cluster with tachometer, billet controls
for electric wipers, door handles & window cranks, and illuminated
Vintage Air HVAC controls. It even has a USB port tucked nicely
under the dash for charging your phone on the go! On the ground sit
black 15" Smoothie Style wheels by Wheel Smith measuring 165SR15 up
front and 235/75R15 at the rear. This Deluxe Coupe runs
exceptionally well, and more importantly, is nicely sorted out! It
performs wonderfully even on hot summer days with the air
conditioning blowing, running 185 degrees on the thermostat. The
speedometer is very accurate at all speeds, with a current odometer
reading of 2,416 miles since completion. The paint remains in show
worthy condition, and it is a classic Ford ready to enjoy
