your consideration. Originally purchased from Harlo Motors in

between NY and Chicago. It changed hands in 1985 and remains a true
2-owner survivor, boasting rare options such as the Flash-O-Matic
push-button transmission, power steering, and power brakes. This
authentic Ambassador V8 is largely intact, running, and driving,
and ready for its next proud owner.

Exterior:
This wagon's body is straight with no signs of prior damage,
featuring its original Baron Blue Metallic paint, which, although
faded, retains its authenticity. All trim, hardware, and chrome are
present and in good condition. The glass is clear and intact. While
there are minor rust spots, the car is an excellent candidate for
restoration or can be enjoyed as a cruiser in its current
state.
Interior:
The original Blue Cloth Interior is well-preserved and full of
potential. The dash, gauges, switches, and lenses are all in
excellent condition. Seatbelts are intact, and the seats are fully
functional. The headliner is in great shape throughout. The back
seat appears unused, and the rear area is clean with a dry spare
tire bay. Although the original shag carpet has been cleaned, it
needs replacement. Factory floor mats are included, and all
switches, including the wipers, lights, and horn, function
properly.
Under the Hood and Underbody:
Under the hood lies the original AMC 327 ci V8 engine, complete
with all original components. The power steering and power brakes
are operational, though the brakes are weak and could use
servicing. The underbody remains largely original except for a
newer exhaust and muffler setup. The car runs smoothly on its own
fuel system, starting easily and maintaining a nice idle. There is
some rust beneath the front seats extending into the fender liner
area, but overall, the underside is solid and straight. The
radiator has a lower leak but still circulates coolant
effectively.
Over the Road:
This car runs and drives well, with a tight suspension that tracks
straight despite older tires. The braking system functions but
would benefit from new wheel cylinders. The push-button shifter
operates flawlessly and is enjoyable to use. This car has immense
potential and stands out as a unique classic.
This Ambassador wagon represents a rare opportunity to own a piece
of automotive history that has been well-preserved and maintained
over the years. With its unique features, original components, and
overall solid condition, it is ready to be appreciated by its next
owner, whether as a restoration project or a charming classic
cruiser. Don't miss your chance to bring this remarkable vehicle
home.
