Vehicle Description
The 2005 Chrysler 300C Hemi is a notable full-size sedan that
stands out with its 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine, delivering 340
horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. This sedan combines modern
luxury with a touch of classic American design, featuring
distinctive angular styling, a prominent front grille, and a
spacious and comfortable interior.
What makes this particular 2005 Chrysler 300C Hemi truly unique is
its conversion into a convertible. Chrysler commissioned a
California design studio to explore the concept of a 4-door, 5-seat
powered convertible sedan reminiscent of the 1960s classics. The
result was this 300 Cabriolet Hemi, which was showcased at the L.A.
Auto Show and the New York City Auto Show. This specific
convertible was chosen as the sample vehicle to tour the Northeast
and visit Chrysler stores, hence its remarkably low mileage and
impeccable condition as it has never been exposed to rain.
While the vehicle retains its stock features, it notably sports a
Mercedes-Benz-derived fabric convertible top and a
custom-fabricated rear air wing with an integrated Mercedes 3rd
brake light. Substantial structural bracing has been added
throughout the undercarriage, adding 891 pounds to the original
GVWR.
Approximately 200 examples of this convertible were created by the
California design studio, with only three known to exist east of
the Mississippi River. The original owner, who resides locally, can
be contacted through the dealership for further inquiries regarding
this exceptional and rare 2005 Chrysler 300C Hemi convertible.
