The beautiful exterior color is accompanied by OEM corvette rims wrapped in period correct white lettered Hoosier tires. The interior is a light beige color with vinyl trimmed bucket seats and a 2-tone center console and dashboard. On the dash are many gauges to display info to the driver which include oil pressure, battery voltage, water temperature, and fuel as well as an updated Sony radio head unit that has been installed. This C3 is also equipped with T-Tops which are included in the trunk, of which there are 2 sets. A hard top color set and a tinted all glass set for sunny days. Under the hood is Chevy's 5.7L L48 V8 engine paired to a 3-speed automatic transmission which produces around 185HP. 1978 was the Corvette's 25th anniversary which called for a slight redesign. A new fastback rear window was the most dramatic and noticeable styling change, giving the ten-year-old C3 Corvette body style a fresh lease on life. The fixed-glass fastback benefited both aerodynamics and increased the usable luggage space behind the seats while improving rearward visibility in the bargain. A shade was installed that could be pulled forward to cover the rear compartment to protect cargo and carpet against the sun. The tachometer and speedometer were redesigned to match the new aircraft styled center console and gauge cluster first seen the previous year. Redesigned interior door panels were also new as well as an actual glove box was added in front of the passenger seat, replacing the map pockets of previous years.
