Bought new in Minnesota, this Studebaker Lark has a low, three
ownership history. Under current ownership for the last 11 years,
the car was acquired from the second owner following a 20+ year
"slumber" in storage. The car was gathered out of storage, brought
back to drivability and is largely original including the paint,
interior and drivetrain.
The odometer shows 21,510 which are believed to be original, but
not confirmed. The interior is all original to the car and shows
well. The seat and vinyl floor are in very good condition with the
exception of the top of the back seat showing wear due to exposure
to the sun. The door panels show well and the dash presents in very
good original condition. There is rust present in the rocker panels
as noted in the pictures.
A new Muffler was installed in 2022. Extensive brake work was also
completed in 2022 including new brake lines. The seller reports the
straight 6 engine runs well with no issues. The transmission is
reported to operate correctly with no issues and the suspension and
brakes operate just like a 1962 Studebaker.
The car maintains all the original parts with some additional parts
in the trunk. Manuals go with the car as do many invoices and
records along with letters from the President of Studebaker.
