Vehicle Description

Real X33 code Z-28 with #s matching motor, trans, rear, and colors! Very desirable options including the Rally Sport package. Frame off restored to factory specs from smog equipment to the complete cowl induction system.

EXTERIOR: There's a great list of features outside this car too! The most desirable being the Rally Sport which includes hideaway headlights with headlight washers and relocated reverse lights. Right below the hideaway headlights is the rare body color endura bumper. The body is in excellent shape, it's straight and fits right. D88 is on the cowl tag indicating factory front and rear spoilers, it also has the cowl hood. Repainted it's original Dover White color with black stripes and no vinyl top. It has a smooth glossy finish. The trim sparkles too, it also has the exterior trim package including wheel well moldings, rain gutter trim and louvers on the 1/4 panels. It is rolling on 15 inch rally wheels with BFG tires.

INTERIOR: The options keep on coming. It is a deluxe interior which includes comfort weave upholstery, molded door panels and rosewood trim. All of which is in excellent shape. Between the bucket seats is an optional console with factory gauges. In the dash is an optional 8 grand tachometer, a clock and factory Am-Fm stereo. down on the floor the carpet looks fresh an d it has reproduction floormats. It also has a complete set of original seatbelts. Up above the headliner, visors and mirror look great. All of the interior lights work.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Boy oh boy, there is a lot of desirable stuff under this hood! The legendary DZ 302 is a high revving, high performance motor not to be taken lightly, this one is #s matching. The VIN is stamped by the oil filter in the rough cast metal making it virtually impossible to tamper with. The DZ code, dates and casting numbers are all correct. It has correct aluminum intake, dual feed Holley carb, and finned aluminum valve covers. On top is an optional and complete cowl induction system. It also includes a complete factory smog system.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It has a 5th matching BFG tire on a restored rally wheel along with a jack assembly. Under the trunk lid and jamb are painted smooth and glossy. Inside is rock solid metal with a tidy spatter finish. It has a reproduction mat, weatherstrip seat insulation and decals. Oh yeah, there's an option in here too: working trunk light!

UNDERSIDE: The steering and suspension were rebuilt. The brakes system was rebilt, It has disc in front. Lines and hoses were replaced, e-brake is hooked up. Correct reproduction exhaust with transverse mufflers and slash cut tailpipes. The fuel system was replaced. Looking up at the motor it has fresh Chevy Orange and the starter looks new. Original VIN # matching Muncie 4-speed trans. Original 12 bolt rear end with 3.73 posi gears. The code is BU and the date lines up with the car.

SERVICE: We inspected the car and repaired the reverse lights, replaced speedometer cable, and cleaned the fuse terminal for the interior lights.

This is a very special Z-28! I convinced myself of that as I wrote this ad. The long list of rare and desirable features is very impressive. The fantastic colors are not typical. According to all the codes, numbers and tag it was born like you see it. This is a hot car with great investment potential!
