1970 CUDA 440-6 4-speed. This is a number 1 condition car, full nut and bolt rotisserie restoration. You will not find a finer 70 Cuda anywhere! "This is the nicest one I have ever seen" Andy Reid, concours judge (watch video). If you are looking for an example of what a 1970 Cuda was this is your car!
The car was born on December 11,1969.
It is a real deal, one of 902, V-code 440-6 523HP/606Trq, 4-speed Cuda with matching cowl numbers. Power steering, power front disk brakes, dana 60 rear end, axle ratio 3.55. Hood tie-down pins, heavy duty suspension, heavy duty 11 inch brakes, road lamps, track pack. Rallye instrument cluster group includes variable speed wipers with electric washers, tachometer electric clock, heater control, floodlights, 150 mph speedometer trip odometer woodgrain instrument cluster appliqué oil pressure gauge. Center console. Chrome racing mirrors right and left.
The car was a fairly famous race car in the Chicago area. The car was painted maroon for its racing days but the Limelight Green shows through on interior and trunk. It has sat in a garage since the 80’s and was discovered and put up for sale. The car was sold but the buyer never paid so it was re-listed and we got it!
The Cuda was purchased by me in May of 2016 and went through a total nut and bolt rotisserie restoration by SS Mopar Muscle in CA which was completed October 2019. It was trailered to Phoenix AZ and is kept in an air conditioned storage facility run by my auto detailer in Scottsdale. The car is only driven to car shows and has maybe 3-4k miles since the restoration. I have had it in three shows with judges and it has won 1st place in each one.
The car is numbers matching with the exception of the engine. It does have a period correct 440-6 that was stroked for drivability. All repairs are documented.
