If you have been thinking of adding an iconic Hot Rod to your garage then this '32 Ford Hiboy is definitely one you need to consider.  Hard to believe that this beauty was built almost 25 years ago as it truly shows like a car that was just finished recently.  The overall build quality is top notch and there is a binder full of documentation from the original build.  With just under 8800 miles since it was completed it is still a show quality Hot Rod that is a blast to drive. Over $65,000 was spent on the original build almost 25 years ago so you can imagine the cost to build it today. I will do my best to provide enough images, video walk around and start up and info on the build to allow you to decide if this Hot Rod should be in your garage. I can assist buyers with Enclosed Transport anywhere in the country and welcome overseas buyers. Sit back and enjoy.

Titled as a 1932 Ford Convertible, this build started with a Wescott glass body, known to be one of the best and in the business since 1954. It appears from the paperwork that the build was done in 1999/2000 and it has obviously been extremely well cared for as it still looks like a very fresh build. Very high quality black paint with gorgeous House of Kolor candy flames that give it the true nostalgic California Hot Rod look.  Awesome commercial style headlights set off the front end. Rumble seat in the rear. High end Duvall Windshield for a sleek look and a removable convertible top from Bop-Top. I think you'll agree this Hot Rod looks as good with the top on as it does with it off. Just a few minor paint flaws keep this Hiboy from being perfect but it will surely win its share of trophies at the shows and cruise-ins.

Interior is a very comfortable and stylish gray leather with seat belts. Dash is clean and neat as you would expect with Stewart Warner gauges and Moon Speedometer and Tach.  Lokar shifter on the floor.  Polished steering column with awesome black and polished steering wheel.  Clarion stereo unit mounted under the seat with speakers neatly hidden behind the side panels and working power antennae. Locking switch for the rumble seat and battery cut off switch also mounted under the seat. Chrome fire extinguisher neatly mounted under dash.  All of the gauges, turn signals, etc work.  The interior is show ready and near flawless.

It is always nice when a builder treats their '32 Ford Hot Rod build to a Ford power plant. This one has a super strong 302 V8 putting out an estimated 350hp. We just put on a black Edelbrock Air Gap RPM intake and Edelbrock 750cfm 4 barrel carburetor that performs beautifully.  The 302 is mated to a Ford C6 Automatic Transmission that shifts smoothly utilizing the Lokar shifter with a manual reverse valve body. Suspension is gorgeous and features dropped chrome I-beam and 4 link front and rear.  Halibrand Quick Change rear end with great street friendly gearing. You will love the stance with the American Racing Torque Thrust polished wheels staggered for that iconic Hot Rod look.  Great lope form the cam and amazing tone from the dual exhaust. Beautiful 17 gallon Stainless fuel tank.  Stops nicely with the front disc brake set up. Fire this baby up and you will know what a true Hot Rod should sound and feel. Engine bay is nicely detailed to show off with the hood sides propped open and the undercarriage is also nicely detailed. She cruises down the road beautifully and will turn all the heads!  Thick binder with details of the build and a notebook listing the various components and specs of the build. It is titled as a 1932 Ford Convertible.

Be sure to watch the walk around and start up video to see how amazing this '32 Hiboy is! The Video is the 2nd pic and you can click the arrow to play.
