SALE PENDING - Private Party Sale. 1969 Camaro Convertible with newly built, high performance 383 stroker engine and TH350 automatic transmission. All major mechanical components have been upgraded / updated in the last several years. Drives great for cruising around town and the engine pulls hard when you want it to. Power steering; power brakes (front disc, rear drum). Car has a great stance with 2” drop front springs and 1.5” drop rear leaf springs with no tire rubbing. Manual convertible top is in great shape. Badged an SS but no confirmed paperwork; NOT numbers matching.
Engine is a freshly balanced and built 383 stroker with 4-bolt mains and 10.7:1 compression. Aluminum ProMaxx heads, Comp XR276HR roller cam for a great idle and torquey power curve, Comp roller rockers, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Holley Street Avenger 670 cfm carb with vacuum secondaries and many more performance parts. Exhaust flows and sounds great through new 1 ¾” ceramic coated headers and a new Flowmaster 2.5” dual exhaust system.
The engine’s power is channeled through a rebuilt and upgraded TH350 auto transmission with a 2500 rpm stall torque converter and external cooler and hits the pavement via the 12-bolt, limited slip rear-end with 3.73 gears and 235/60R15 BFG Radial T/A tires.
The Daytona Yellow paint, body panels and houndtooth interior are in good shape, although there are a few areas that will likely need some work down the road. But for now, this car is ready to cruise down the road at a very reasonable price for a '69 convertible!
