Vehicle Description
This 1993 Porsche 928 GTS is finished in Horizon Blue Metallic over
Cobalt Blue leather, and it was optioned with sport seats and
sport-tuned shocks. At some point in its history, the 5.4 liter was
replaced with the Porsche 5.0 L 32 valve V8. It is paired with a
five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
Additional equipment includes 17? Cup 1 wheels, a sunroof, pop-up
headlights, fog lights, an Alpine stereo, cruise control, and air
conditioning. The current owner acquired the car in May 2014 and
has since added approximately 3,800 of the 77k indicated miles. A
timing belt service in March 2016 also included replacing the water
pump and installing an aluminum radiator. This 928 GTS comes with
the owner's manual, two keys, service records, a Porsche
Certificate of Authenticity, a clean Carfax report, and a clean
Texas title. The car was finished from the factory in Horizon Blue
Metallic (L37X), and there is evidence of paintwork.
Features include pop-up headlights, integrated fog lights, tinted
windows, a sunroof, a rear window wiper, and dual exhaust outlets.
GTS-specific equipment included a color-matched rear spoiler, Cup
Design side mirrors, GTS badging, and a reflective red panel
between the taillights. Close-up photographs of the exterior finish
and trim are shown in the gallery below.
The 17? Cup 1 wheels are mounted with Continental ExtremeContact
DWS 06 Plus tires. The car was optioned with sport shocks, and it
is equipped with force-sensitive power steering and vented disc
brakes at each corner.
The sports seats feature power height adjustment and are
upholstered in Cobalt Blue leather. Interior amenities include air
conditioning, cruise control, an analog clock, and an Alpine
stereo. The air-conditioning system was overhauled in February
2022.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation
including a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil
pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The digital
odometer shows 77k miles.
The 5 liter DOHC V8 was factory rated at 316 horsepower and 317
lb-ft of torque. The timing belt, water pump, and various seals
were replaced in March 2016, when an aluminum radiator was
installed. The battery is said to have been replaced in March
2023.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual
transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The clutch was replaced
and the flywheel was resurfaced in December 2017. Additional
photographs of the underside are shown in the gallery below.

only one with sport seats. One of the best specs and color
